ALACE is a non-profit, educational organization formed in 1995 by Rahima Baldwin and combine aspects of Informed Homebirth and Informed Birth and Parenting. As the name indicates, ALACE offers certifications for childbirth educators and labor assistants (doulas). With a goal to empower women to make the best choices in order to have a wonderful birth experience, ALACE emphasizes the psychological perspectives and mind-body influences on birth. Furthermore, ALACE examines the sociological and anthropological influences our culture has on birthing women today.

American Academy of Husband Coached Childbirth (AAHCC) Emphasis on Natural, Husband-Coached Childbirth. This site contains information on the Bradley Method of childbirth and locations of instructors throughout the US.
