In addition to the risks and benefits, this is the first DVD that has included an explanation of delayed newborn responses due to the inability of the immature newborn liver to effectively metabolize medication left in their system. There is also great animation for epidural placement. Pushing with medication/epidurals is covered as well as alternative positioning including the towel pull/tug of war technique. Unfortunately, the DVD did gloss over a few of the risks of epidurals for baby especially latch problems.
